Støren Church (Template:Lang-no) is a parish church in Midtre Gauldal municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Støren. It is the church for the Støren parish which is part of the Gauldal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The red, octagonal, wooden church was built in 1817 by the architect Svend Halvorsen Aspaas and Lars Forseth. The church seats about 400 people. It was built to replace an earlier church that had been built in 1730.[1][2][3]
While Svend Aspaas' role in the design of Støren Church remains unclear since he died in 1816, he has been credited as an architect of this church. Aspaas was involved in the construction of the nearby Røros Church and Sør-Fron Church.[4]
