The village of St. Benedict is located in the Carlton Trail Region of Saskatchewan 56 km (35 miles) north of Humboldt off Highway 20. The population was 82 in 2011.[1]

The village was founded by German immigrants in the first decades of the 20th century.[2]

The Roman Catholic church in St. Benedict contains works by the artist Berthold Imhoff.[3]
