Stacey Jayne Francis (born 1 January 1988) is an English international netball player. Francis debuted for the England national netball team in 2007 and was a member of the England team that won a bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She has won gold at the 2011 World Netball Series in Liverpool and was named 2011 and 2013 Netball Superleague player of the year.[3]

Domestically, she played for Team Bath in the Superleague for 10 years from 2005, winning 5 league titles in that time before switching to the Yorkshire Jets during the close season in the autumn of 2015.[4] In 2017, she got signed by Australian club West Coast Fever in the Suncorp Super Netball.[5]

Personal life

Stacey is the daughter of the former professional footballer, Kevin Francis who most notably played for Stockport County. He scored 118 goals for County in 3 and half years at Edgeley Park and was named their player of the century in 2002. He also played for 9 other clubs including Birmingham City, Derby County, Hull City & Oxford United.[2]
