"Sting Me"
Song

"Sting Me" is a single by American rock band The Black Crowes. It was recorded for, and released on, their number-one album The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, in 1992. "Sting Me" was the second single released from the album and the first track on the album's track listing.

The song became a hit for the group, reaching number one on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart, where it remained for two weeks. Previous single "Remedy" had spent eleven weeks at the summit. This was the second of four singles from The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion to top the Album Rock chart.

A music video was also recorded for the song, featuring the band performing at a marijuana legalization rally. It became a hit on MTV, aiding in the single's success.
