Strigosella lepida is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Trochidae, the top snails.[1][2]

The genus Strigosella Sacco, 1896 has become a synonym of Gibbula Risso, 1826 [1]

  • Taxonomy: The generic allocation is not tenable for this Australian species, as Scrobiculinus has a Moroccan type species currently classified in Gibbula Risso, 1826.
