Sumkidz Inc. (now known as Suma) is an artist-driven community collective based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with satellite groups throughout North America. The organization was responsible for the promotion of the OM Festival, and is a supporter and promoter of the electronic music community in Canada.

Description

Key tenets of the Sumkidz collective are a concentration on teaching elements of harm reduction and the promotion of volunteerism within youth communities. They promote arts and electronic music as well as social justice, human rights, and environmental awareness.

The collective owns DubBus, a green bus which is used to support various Sumkidz and Sumkidz-affiliated events. It has been converted to run on waste vegetable oil. Sumkidz has taken the bus on tour around Canadian and US cities to promote clean energy, environmental awareness, arts and music.

Sumkidz is in process of registering Sumkidz Inc. as a non profit so that they may take advantage of government funding programs to further the progress of Sumkidz projects.
