Swapna (born 9 June 1974) is the managing editor of Telugu language news channel Sakshi TV. She is also a Telugu language TV presenter and journalist.[1] She is a well trained performer of carnatic classical vocal and musical instrument.

Early life

Swapna was born in Hyderabad to Jyotsna, a FM radio presenter known for popular programme JAPA 4. Her maternal grandmother is popular presenter, Radio Bhanumati of All India Radio, Chennai fame and also first woman staff.[2][failed verification]

Career

Swapna started her career in TV anchoring with TV9 (Telugu) did popular shows like Shara Maamule. She later moved to radio as the regional programming head of BIG FM 92.7.[1]
