Sweet Trip is an experimental ambient pop/shoegaze act from San Francisco, California.

Background

The group was formed in 1995,[2] and its mastermind is producer and songwriter, Roberto Burgos. Since its conception the band has released three full-length recordings with Darla Records, namely 1999's Halica, 2003's Velocity : Design : Comfort, and 2009's You Will Never Know Why.

Labelmates Junior Varsity KM — whom Burgos has done several remixes for — has toured with Sweet Trip on several occasions. Other notable outfits Burgos has done remixes for include Takako Minekawa, Club 8 and Gnac.

In 2013, Burgos posted a song, "Things to Ponder While Falling", on his SoundCloud account, referring to it as "Probably *not* the last Sweet Trip song ever."[3]
