Syed Manzur Elahi is a prominent businessperson in Bangladesh. He is the chairman of Apex group, a leading business organisation in Bangladesh. He is also the founding chairman of Mutual Trust Bank and Grey Advertising Bangladesh.[1]

Career highlights

Manzur joined the erstwhile Pakistan Tobacco after completing M.A. in Economics from the University of Dhaka. Prior to that, he received his B.A from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta. He left the lucrative job to start his own tannery business. In 1996, he was appointed as an advisor to the non-partisan Caretaker Government of Bangladesh.[2]
