Synaphaeta guexi is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae, and the only species in the genus Synaphaeta. It occurs in the Pacific states of North America, from British Columbia down to California,[2] and has been reared from a variety of hardwood trees, including Pacific willow (Salix lasiandra), white alder (Alnus rhombifolia), coffeeberry (Frangula californica), English walnut (Juglans regia), and cherry (Prunus sp.).[3] It was described by LeConte in 1852 based on a specimen from Benicia, CA.[1][4]
