"Take Your Mama"
Song

"Take Your Mama" is a song by American band Scissor Sisters and is the second track on their self-titled debut album. The song, written by Babydaddy and Jake Shears at Shears' parents' horse farm in West Virginia, was inspired by Shears' coming out to his mother, whom he is close with.[1] The single was released on March 29, 2004 in the UK, peaking at number 17 on the UK Singles Chart (see 2004 in British music). It also saw considerable success internationally, notably in New Zealand, where it reached number 11 on the Recorded Music NZ Singles Chart. In Australia, where the song peaked at number 40, the song was ranked number 23 on Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2004.

The song was included in the soundtrack to FIFA Football 2005.
