Talal Ali Silo (Arabic: طلال علي سلو, also spelled Telal Silo or Talal Sallou, born 1965) was the official Syrian Democratic Forces spokesperson[3] until his surrender[4][5] or defection[6] to the Turkish army. Mr. Silo, a Turkmen[7], has been the SDF spokesperson from 2014 to November 2017, covering major SDF operations and battles against ISIS. Silo has since given alledged free interview to the pro-Erdogan newspaper Daily Sabah with statements all along the official Turkish vision of the Northern Syria theater.[8] [9] [10]
