Talal Ali Silo (Arabic: طلال علي سلو, also spelled Telal Silo or Talal Sallou, born 1965) was the official Syrian Democratic Forces spokesperson^[3] until his surrender^[4]^[5] or defection^[6] to the Turkish army. Mr. Silo, a Turkmen^[7], has been the SDF spokesperson from 2014 to November 2017, covering major SDF operations and battles against ISIS. Silo has since given alledged free interview to the pro-Erdogan newspaper Daily Sabah with statements all along the official Turkish vision of the Northern Syria theater.^[8] ^[9] ^[10]
