There is another similar notion of an e-net not directly related to probability theory:
An ɛ-net is a set of points in a metric space such that each point of the space is within distance ɛ of some point in the set.
I think this definition is much more common and fundamental.

Two of the three entries redirect to the same article
[edit]E-net (probability theory) and ε-net (computational geometry) redirects to the same article. That article talks about both concept, but it is confusing for the reader because the name of the article is ε-net (computational geometry) and makes you think you didn't click the right link when you click on the article about probability theory or makes you think there is a wrong placed link on the probability theory one
