Final number[edit]

Does anyone know which final this is, is says in the intro that it is the 123rd Scottish Cup final which you may think is sensible because it is the 123rd Scottish cup but there was no final in 1909 because of a riot, in 1874 and 1879 teams failed to appear, are these counted. I certainly don't think the 1909 tie should be counted as a final even though it was a replay that the riot occurred at. I think though it can definitely be said that the 1908-09 cup can be counted as the 36th staging of the competition it just did not have a final, same for 1879 as the 6th and 1879 as the 11th. I don't know whether the non appearances should be counted as finals, I don't know if they actually technically occurred (i.e. did they kick-off and the referee immediately blew his whistle) or was the cup simply awarded?
