I'll admit that the Motorola Quality Award is a pretty important award, but wouldn't Rookie All-Star be more valuable seeing as that qualifies the team for Championships?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Nskerven (talkcontribs)

I agree that what is included and not included seems pretty arbitrary. That goes for awards listed vs. not listed, the lack of filled out information weeks after the fact, and that not every season has such an article. I'm not outright opposed to having these "season" articles, but some discussion on what to include and what not to needs to take place, and it apparently did not. That said, I'm mildly opposed to these articles because they're not in the spirit of FIRST, which isn't really about winning. They say to teams, "Win a regional, get your team number forever enshrined in Wikipedia". Oh, and they're a target for vandals adding false information. And do we list such statistics for every high school sport? HereToHelp (talk to me) 15:34, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If you look at the revision history for Aim High, you'll see quite an edit war back and forth on this very thing. What is and isn't filled out largely seems to be a question of effort, but do we want to put effort into it? Things like competition locations strike me as worthy and notable, but polls, qualification standings for individual regionals, and finals brackets (except for possibly the Einstein field) seem somewhat inappropriate.
I say, keep the maps, Championship results and timeline. The poll, qualification standings, and regional finals brackets can go. Regional winners, I don't know. Chris857 (talk) 16:30, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Competition Results

[edit]

If anyone wants to help fill out the remaining blank results, all competition results are availabe here - FRC Event List. Start by filling out the number and nationality, then linking the number to schools or cities. Some help would be appreciated. Chris857 (talk) 22:34, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Einstein Finals

[edit]

For the three Einstein winners, there are two third titles and one first title. Should one of the thirds be a second? Chris857 (talk) 16:36, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think it means that the team won the Championship for the third or first time, but it took me several seconds to figure out. Feel free to clarify it with third team title or something. HereToHelp (talk to me) 16:59, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I changed it to '## title for team'. Funny part is, I had realized what it was and then forgot about it. Chris857 (talk) 23:17, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Newton Division Empty

[edit]

The list of teams in Newton division is empty, and should be filled. Chris857 (talk) 03:05, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I filled in the team numbers and flags --Christmasboy 81 (talk) 17:13, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
