Format[edit]

Do we know what the format of this is going to be? There was a report in The Scotsman a while back saying teams from Ireland and Wales would be invited. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 13:49, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I'm aware the current format will be used for the 2016–17 season, with any changes taking effect from Summer 2017. Exxy (talk) 13:52, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A quick search indicates that Irish and Welsh teams, as well as EPL U20s sides are indeed being suggested for the 2017–18 season.[1] In addition, there was an article in February which suggested that more Highland & Lowland league sides could be included, but I haven't found anything further on this at the moment.[2] Exxy (talk) 13:57, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
