Grabbing this one as well. Might as well review two similar articles at the same time! Miyagawa (talk) 23:19, 12 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, finally with the review:

  • Lead: "Mercedes holds a one hundred and three point advantage" - "held"
  • "teammate Rosberg" You can drop "teammate" as you've only said it a sentence or two before. Also keep an eye out as you've used "teammate" and "team-mate" - generally with formats like that, you just needs to pick one and stick to it.
  • "Lewis Hamilton was able to convert his pole position into a third straight victory" - you can drop "Lewis" unless there are two Hamilton drivers.
  • Link gearbox and let the redirect do all the work. Unless you want to pipe it properly, but I won't ask you to. Also link it in the last paragraph of Free Practice.
  • Background: Add in the team that Ricciardo races for at the first mention as right now you mention the teams of the others, but not him.
  • Third paragraph needs to be edited to place it in the past tense, as right now it's written as if it hasn't happened yet.
  • Qualifying: "danger of missing out of going through into the second session" - I think you can trim this to just "danger of not going through into the second session"
  • "In the first part of qualifying (Q1), a pattern of several drivers being under investigation for exceeding track limits emerged." This doesn't read well at the moment. I would suggest "In the first part of qualifying (Q1), several drivers were investigated for exceeding track limits."
  • I'd also switch this sentence around to ensure that no-one confuses the arguments: "Jenson Button ended the session 17th, a disappointment after having started third a week before in Austria, due to a damaged rear wing." to "Jenson Button ended the session 17th due to a damaged rear wing, a disappointment after having started third a week before in Austria."
  • Quite a few duplicate links in the first half of the article.
  • Second paragraph of Background: Hamilton, Rosberg, Mercedes
  • Fourth paragraph of Background: Red Bull, Ferrari
  • First paragraph of Free Practice: Hamilton, Rosberg, Vettel, Leclerc, Haas, Ferrari
  • Second paragraph of Free Practice: Ricciardo, Red Bull, Raikkonen, McClaren
  • Third paragraph of Free Practice: Ericsson
  • First paragraph of Qualifying: Button
  • Second paragraph of Qualifying: Alonso, Kvyat
  • Some of the citations are more complete than others, when they should each be the same. So you need to fill out 9, 10, 11 as you have with the rest of them.
@Miyagawa: Everything should be sorted out now. Once more, thank you for the review! Zwerg Nase (talk) 17:31, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Great, happy to promote now. Miyagawa (talk) 17:41, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
