New Contracts[edit]

I saw that over the weekend, two development squad members got new contracts. As they don't have squad numbers (yet), would it be useful to include these with the New Contracts section? http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/new-contracts-for-development-pair-300618/ --Philk84 (talk) 07:12, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well on the footy project talk page, there was some questions about weather they should be in a table, some argued that news contracts should be written in prose. Govvy (talk) 08:43, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A template for transfers[edit]

I'd really appreciate any input on a proposed standard going forward for how transfers are listed on club season articles. There is a discussion ongoing here at the moment. Given the implications for this page, I thought it would be best to give a heads up.Domeditrix (talk) 10:42, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lucas or Moura[edit]

I noticed in the pre-season friendlies that goals have been credited to Lucas Moura under both names which might lead someone to think that they are different players. Might it avoid confusion at a later date to use one name for this player. No particular preference from me, but his shirt say "Lucas".46.7.195.132 (talk) 18:15, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lucas Moura refers to him as "Lucas" in the International Career and Spurs sections, "Moura" in the PSG section. His profile on Tottenham's Website shows his surname as "Moura", but refers to him in the article as "Lucas" (although the Harry Kane page refers to "Harry", not "Kane"), and his shirt is also "Lucas". I'd say go with the majority, but there doesn't appear to be one? --Philk84 (talk) 07:07, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't notice that before, that was a good spot, I've changed them all to his fullname of Lucas Moura for consistency. Govvy (talk) 07:17, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of own goals[edit]

Think this should be added, yes get that it is not a scorer for the club but it goes down in the records and over the course of a season is a valid metric. For someone who has only seen three Spurs Trophies in my living memory, at least a third of those would have been chalked off if we discounted Des Walker's OG in the FAC Cup '91 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bassadams (talkcontribs) 10:22, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not going to added to the scorer list, that is for Tottenham players that have scored goals for the club, not for own-goals. Govvy (talk) 11:04, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Current Squad -- Carter-Vickers and Onomah[edit]

Why are Carter-Vickers and Onomah listed in the current squad list when they've been loaned out for the season? Dawindler (talk) 19:16, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

EFL Cup semi-fianl 2nd Leg[edit]

The date is still to be confirmed, will be either 22 or 23 Jan, to be decided, That is because the EFL is concerned about a "complicated and congested fixture schedule" with both teams in Premier League and expected to be in FA Cup fourth round action. In fact it is Thursday 24 Jan 2019, as both Tottenham and Man City play on the previous Sunday, so neither can play on Tuesday 22 Jan.Statto74 (talk) 12:23, 8 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
