Reason for writing the article.[edit]
The article roughly divides into two parts. In the first half it contextualises by saying what actually happened to Vladimir Popov and putting into the context of the two fatal shark attacks in 2022 and I agree with the editor that this could come across as news.
However, in the second half and particularly by drawing on the BBC Why Sharks Attack documentary I aimed to make it an informative piece concerning how human interaction with the environment is a causal factor in such shark attacks with this particular attack being a specific example.
This element I consider not to be news, but to be informative with Popov's tragedy being an example.
However, i do agree with your concerns and while I would like to keep the article in tact and probably add to it (you may have seen me doing this to a few articles) as time goes on i totally respect why you have question marks over it. Domielka (talk) 13:53, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
