Demobilization
[edit]In August 1919, the unit was not demobilized, but moved from Mitchel Field to Phillips Field, Maryland. It was redesignated the 258th Aero Squadron (Heavy Bombardment) on 8 June 1920, 258th Squadron (Bombardment, Heavy) c. 14 March 1921 and demobilized on 20 June 1922. It was reconstituted 24 March 1923 as the 14th Bombardment Squadron, activated 7 September 1932 at Kelly Field, Texas, redesignated the 14th Attack Squadron on 1 October 1933, inactivated on 1 October 1936 and disbanded on 1 January 1938. --Lineagegeek (talk) 20:24, 5 February 2014 (UTC)
