I have begun cleanup. I like many features of this article, not the least of which is that it treats the 306th Bomb GROUP as a separate entity from the 306th Bomb WING (one was USAAF and the other USAF--the AF wing is a descendant of the AAF group, but the term "wing" means something different in USAF than it did in USAAF). But the USAF Historical Office version is dry, difficult to read, even more difficult to interpret, uses no grammar, no paragraph structure, no sentence structure and itself does not link the USAAF and USAF units. I did an article on the 456th Bomb Group separate from the USAF Bomb Wing, and I intend to draw on that format to add readability to the good features here.
