We need to get rid of "polychorons"

[edit]

In the entire MathSciNet database, guess how many times the word "polychoron" appears anywhere in any paper? Zero. Not Once. Wikipedia is not the place to promote coinages that have so overwhelmingly failed to catch on. The phrase "4-dimensional polytope" is the only term for this concept that is universally understood among mathematicians, and that's what 4-dimensional polytopes should be called. (Or spell it out as "four-dimensional polytopes".)Daqu (talk) 16:33, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
