I understand that the article "A177 road (England)" has been deleted. Also, it already has a commonscat: Category:A177 road (England) with about 16 pictures in it. I have therefore removed the reqphoto template. Storye book (talk) 16:07, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello reader, I hope this finds you well. I was wondering if you agree with me by removing the redirect to A roads in Zone 1 of the Great Britain numbering scheme. This is because when Ajpolino redirected the page in February 2018 (6½ years ago), the reason for the redirect was because the road was a there was no references. However, since then, I have found a handful of references that could be on this Wikipedia page. Furthermore, like JMF stated over at the A508 road talk page in May 2023, unless there is an overall proposal to delete all three- and four-figure A-class roads (which is unlikely), it is not obvious what singles the A508 out for special treatment, and the same things applies to the A177 - due to the two reasons I just stated, I cannot see what singles out the A177 or A508 for special treatment, compared with other roads articles in the United Kingdom and worldwide, as quite a lot of those articles have either no references or less than five. If I don't hear anything back in the next few days, then I will more than likely remove the redirect. Regards, Roads4117 (talk) 07:22, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please direct any response to one central point – Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_UK_geography#Removing_redirects_(re-creating_pages). Thank you. --10mmsocket (talk) 14:45, 15 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
