This page will next be updated immediately after 14 total teams are each officially elimated from 2007 NBA playoff contention (c. mid-April 2007).

Since when does a singularity, ie. 1, indicate a streak? Doesn't make any sense to me to include teams that miss on a "one-off" occasion.202.139.104.226 (talk) 23:18, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some introduction is needed[edit]

The current intro is "The following is a list of NBA teams with the longest active non-playoff appearance streaks." For those not into basketball, it is very confusing. Is it a list of teams who did not appear in the NBA playoffs for the last years? Or teams that appeared in the non-playoff (whatever that may be?).
