Helicopters

Applications of active vibration control have recently been extended to the control of low-frequency vibration (typically around 20 Hz) in helicopters. This technique allows weight savings and improvement in structural integrity as well as crew fatigue and pilot performance. Cameras

Some cameras now have anti-vibration features (Image stabilization). Isn't this essentially the same technology? Should there be a link? NCdave (talk) 12:29, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
