Somebody should submit a photo for this college! --SuperDude 02:18, 5 May 2005 (UTC)
logomark
I have added the official logomark. Someone on campus should create a version that has a transparent backround. I will do so if I have time in the future. --07tghard 05:08, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Notable Faculty
What makes a faculty member notable? --07tghard 05:21, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
In the grand scheme of things these recent/current faculty persons are not notable. I am therefore deleting this section of the article. Drdpw (talk) 22:42, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Notable Alumni
Can someone verify whether the President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, is in fact a graduate of Alma College? I have read quite a bit about him, and Wikipedia is the only place that has ever mentioned this item of information. My understanding is that all his education was in Equatorial Guinea and Spain, and that he understands quite a bit of English but does not speak it publicly.
These two items suggest that it's actually Nguema's son Gabriel who attended college in the USA:

Criticisms of ranking systems
This is a common theme across all these school and already has an entry dedicated to it. Do we really need a section on each school?--MattyMetalFan (talk) 15:35, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
- It's a short section with a link to the main article. I think it's ok. Kendall-K1 (talk) 19:19, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the response. I agree to that extent but there is definitely WP:CHERRYPICKING with the quote that is highlighted.--MattyMetalFan (talk) 20:00, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- I can't check, the link is dead. If you've got the source at hand, and the quote is only giving half the story, I would say go ahead and fix it. Kendall-K1 (talk) 22:32, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- Cool, I will look, thanks for your feedback.--MattyMetalFan (talk) 22:25, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- The source has been rescued and I took a look. I think the quote is inappropriate. The content should be paraphrased and summarize the important points of the whole article, not just the first two paragraphs. Kendall-K1 (talk) 13:25, 10 October 2016 (UTC)

- Just got around to this. I agree and thanks for finding it.--MattyMetalFan (talk) 18:29, 22 October 2016 (UTC)
