आल्या
[edit]For anyone who can read devnagari आल्या clearly = Alya, or possibly Aalya. Though it is apparently usually transliterated as AAlaya, there is clearly a conjunct 'ly' here, and no 'a' sound in the middle. So, the Sanskrit/Pali meaning of this name should also be listed here: “dwelling place" or "abode”, most often associated with the Buddhist phrase “ālya-vijñāna” which roughly translates to the "Abode of consciousness”.
