Talk:Antiseen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The band's myspace page is official. The band's webpage provides a link to the page. Also, there are no Antiseen fan pages (as of yet),so there is no need to weed out the real one. The band's profile is also sometimes used by Jeff Clayton to leave comments on other pages, mostly his girlfriend's pictures.

Please see WP:EL MySpace links should NOT be used unless referencing the site not user's pages on myspace. Betacommand (talkcontribsBot) 19:12, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Blogs, social networking sites (such as MySpace) and forums should generally not be linked to unless mandated by the article itself."

Fair enough. At first it seemed like you were removing the link soley because it was "unverifiable."

"Except for a link to a page that is the subject of the article or an official page of the article subject"

Re-adding myspace link.

Considering that the bar on the bottom seemed more fitting for the "Murder Junkies" album rather than the band Antiseen, I removed it. The bar did not even mention the album in which GG met with Antiseen in the studio.

"Author needs to check facts."

Read Destructo Maximus. Jeff Clayton describes in detail how people consider Antiseen as just another GG backing band. Note the phrase "by some" being used there.
