not that there's an article on the character, but Chief Dan George's first acting role was as a series regualr on the CBC-TV series Cariboo Cowboy as "Ol' Antwine", Antwine being a local native pronunciation of Antoine; the character is based on the character of the same name and variation in Breaking Smith's Quarter Horse by Paul St. Pierre (who also scripted Cariboo Cowboy), a great little novella which was made into a (very bad) movie, Smith!, starring, Glenn Ford....some name-pages have fictional characters listed; but I suppose only when there are articles on them - ?? In this case it's more the actor, and the author, who are notable, ratehr than the character, so I didn't even try to add it, just noting it in case someone else sees fit to....Skookum1 (talk) 18:44, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
