Merged, renamed, something

This needs to be changed. The term app is short for Application and apps is its plural. Trying to make the claim that is special to mobile applications is impossible. Its been used as shorthand for application probably since computer applications have been around. Also an acronym...

"APPS" is also an acronym for "Automated Package Processing System", used by the USPS for sorting packages. Might want to replace the hard redirect with a disambiguation.
