The term ( دول الخليج ) or the ( Arab gulf states) or ( Khaliji countries ) are widely used in the media and in the region as well as in many official organization to refer to the six Arab gulf states. these six states have many similarities that distinguish them from Iraq and Iran. For example they have the same Khaliji (music), Khaliji arabic, Khaleeji culture, life styles, etc.. Also, the HRW as one example [1] use the term Arab Gulf States to refer to these six countries. Iraq and Iran are not part of these countries. So that topic should not be Content forking. Also, Many academic publications use the term ( Arab gulf states ) to refer to the six Arab states. As example there is book entitled : Arab Gulf States: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia & the United Arab Emirates. [2] [3]
