Just so that you know that this should not only be a disambiguation, but it should also be part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Anthroponymy. It IS a given name. I know this one student from my school with the name Arista and that tells me that it's also a given name. This is one reason why I added a category (Given names). People can name their babies anything they want (look at Track and Trig Palin or Dweezil and Moon Unit Zappa, for example), but when we say that a word "is" a given name, we mean that it's typically recognized as one. —Largo Plazo (talk) 04:00, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
