Buildings and subsections

Recently on a whim I decided to add a buildings section to this article. I ended up putting a few buildings in each paragraph, bolding each building name and having an explanation go with each one. It seems however, that this is cluttered and would work better if each of these paragraphs was instead turned into it's own subsection with the buildings currently bolded as the title of that subsection. This would be neater and allow anyone to quickly see the buildings from the contents box. Jherbertz (talk) 23:00, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

Updates Regarding "Magnets" Offered at Arsenal Technical

There is contradictions over whether the school offers three or four magnets. In addition, IPS no longer refers to programs as magnets.

I've attempted to fix this and was shot down each time.

This is an encyclopedia. If you do not want your changes "shot down" for being uncited, cite them. Altho that wasn't the only problem. You also added additional course description, which is out of guidelines and attempted a major rewrite to the article, with no regard to guidelines, style guides or sourcing. Medinites, are you in any way connected to the Indianapolis Public Schools? Are you employed by them, contracted to them, a student or an alumni? About the course descriptions - understood.

I'll look for citations to the choice programs offered. Am I supposed to leave errors alone if I can not fix them as of yet "four magnets offered.. three magnets offered..."

I have no connection to Indianapolis Public Schools.

Things to Work On

This article needs revisions, with citations from historical, reliable resources such as the Indianapolis Public Library or the Indiana Historical Society. Citations are very, very important, as for now the article is largely uncited and/or uses too few sources.

In particular, there should be updates on the following:

1. A history of the location as an Arsenal. Why was the site chosen? Who chose it? How was it used? What happened between the time the site was closed and when it reopened as a school?

2. Details on the buildings. Which original buildings were torn down? Which still remain? What are the building names, and who are they named after? What year were they built? What do they house today? What did they house previously?
