Aston Martin DB6 0-60[edit]

Please note the stated 0-60 time of 8.4 seconds is hard to verify. Aston Martin's own website states the 0-60 time to be 6.1 seconds, yet that sounds too quick for a DB6. Other websites seem to propose a variety of different figures, such as this one, which suggests a time of 8.3 seconds for the first 1965 version of the car, 7.4 seconds for the second 1968 version and 6.3 seconds for the Vantage DB6. 111B111W111 (talk) 15:05, 31 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Autocar's own website, in a recent article on old Astons, gives a 0-60 of 6.5sec for the DB6 Vantage in the original test for the February 1966 issue. http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motoring/buying-guide-used-aston-martin-special The test vehicle was the first production Vantage, LBH 8C. When last sold it was a bit tatty and didn't go any more, so it fetched a trifling £160,000-odd. https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/21900/lot/204/ Khamba Tendal (talk) 22:34, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
