Don't delete the show-provided premises please

[edit]

There are choady premises or episode comments that are part of the work. Please don't delete them — so far they have repeatedly been removed for copyright violations.

They clearly don't violate copyrights — think of them as subtitles. (They are also clearly not "episode summaries".)

They also seem interesting and relevant enough — the fact that they repeatedly have been deleted as normal episode summaries, stolen, would lend support for this. Daniel Vallstrom (talk) 16:37, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

To back up the claim that there is no copyright violation, the rest of internet has no problem using the quotes. The quotes are even here on wikipedia! With explanations that they are part of the work. Daniel Vallstrom (talk) 16:38, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop adding these. Your WP:BOLD edits have been reverted and since there is a WP:COPYVIO concern, so you constantly readding these can be seen as disruptive. Whether you like it or not, these are "summaries", at least the ones provided by the network for their episodic press releases, as seen here. The ShortSummary parameter in the episode table is meant for episode summaries, written in your own words. Per Template:Episode list, "Don't add copyrighted text, e.g. from the show's website" and "Episode summaries must not be copied from other sources, as this violates WP:COPYRIGHT".
