A Muggle muddle
[edit]Hi!
I am wondering if the World Cup is the same thing as the European Championships.
The Euro championships [2022] were played this year in the Republic of Ireland - Limerick.
The Drop Bears bronzed against Norway [13-12].
[and I recognise there are 2 broomstick codes - Quadball and Quidditch].

Facebook sourcing
[edit]The tables of national squad lists were removed due to being "unsourced". All tables had a citation, it's just that the only place that Quadball Australia publishes their teamlists is usually Facebook, due to the lack of broader media presence.
I intend to put them back as they have been there for awhile without issue and *are* sourced, but I open the floor to a discussion about whether, given the nature of Quadball in Australia at the moment, Facebook can be accepted as an appropriate source. Facebook is a public platform and all citations were to official posts and announcements from the official Quadball Australia page. Mermer321 (talk) 11:02, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- The team lists have been re-instated and primary citations updated for those that previously had exclusively Facebook links to now include other sources (except 2024 and 2022).
- I am in the process of updating the remainder of the squad citations, and will continue to replace/remove Facebook citations as I go. Mermer321 (talk) 07:42, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
