Just a question: what are the races of the people involved? Anybody know? KimoBoy 07:27, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Both biological parents are Eastern European immigrants. The adoptive parents were white. KB

Accusation of Bias

[edit]

Sheggia put the following warning of bias in the article, when it should be on the Talk page. The way to correct for bias is to edit to correct it, not put criticism of the article atop the article. Rcade

[Warning—this article appears to be strongly biased toward the birth parents' points of view, with factual content strongly contradicting that presented in multiple legal publications. Review of legal scholarship about the case presents a much different perspective. Note that the primary external link redered below (though misdirected) is for a book on the subject by Karen Moriarty, a family therapist whose counsel tends to disfavor adoption. Readers should be warned that this material is unreliable and suspect as presented, both factually and in terms of its clear bias.]

Source?

[edit]

What is the source of this information? I recently read an article in a 1997 issue of Ladies Home Journal with very different information about the case. ~Lily —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lilyfyrestorm (talkcontribs) 05:39, 10 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

cleanup?

[edit]

I've removed the cleanup tag, since the article doesn't have any spelling or grammatical errors and reads fine. I can only guess that someone mistook "cleanup" for something else - POV, sources, etc. Natalie 21:43, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
