Baji
[edit]I'm kinda confused. Baji is used to refer to any type of pants. It seems like Baji is one of those words that can mean two different, but related things depending on context. I was looking through the wikis for western dress codes and there are a lot of examples of this. Traditionally, something like a business suit was considered informal wear or casual wear. But in common parlance, nowadays, business suits are considered semi-formal and sometimes even formal.
I wonder if someone can look this up and see if there is an explanation for this.
Also, is there a term for this phenomenon? When a word has more than one meaning, but the meanings are very closely linked. ProfKevin (talk) 06:20, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
