The IUCN page cited in the article gives this animal's common English name as "North African Leopard". What is the source for the common name being "Barbary Leopard?" -- Donald Albury 21:14, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Why I redirected Barbary leopard into African leopard[edit]
One reason is that this page was a stub, and African leopard had places where it could have been expanded. Leo1pard (talk) 18:29, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
