barfeeder and bar stock is not the same thing! barfeeders are for bar stock. barfeeders load bar stock in to a machine! —Preceding unsigned comment added by RoboTaMeR (talkcontribs) 16:21, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That is understood. However, as a single sentence, this article qualifies as a dictionary definition. With no other information to provide, the reader should be directed to an article about bar stock which already mentions the concept of a bar feeder. Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted because... --RoboTaMeR (talk) 06:43, 12 May 2011 (UTC) I am the author and I am still working on it. It is part of Barloader and "Sliding headstock machines"[reply]

If you don't know anything about this subject then just do a google image search on barfeeder or barloader. You will get an idea how broad the subject is and why it is taking me some time to compile

Mege proposal

[edit]

This article covers a device used in Machining. As there does not appear to be enough independently-sourced material for a standalone article, the few facts that might be independently sourced should be included in the Machining# Overview of machining technology section. In the absence of any objections, I will proceed with the merge. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:27, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
