This article confuses BILAs and penal companies[edit]

While the two were somewhat linked, they were completely different units. The BILA were not penal units. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leridan (talk • contribs) 22:08, 19 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The text of the article makes it clear that the BILAs served the purpose of segregating convicts who had served their sentences in the penal companies, or elsewhere, but who still had to complete their military service. There is an incorrect reference to penal units in the infobox, which I have deleted. Buistr (talk) 00:03, 20 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
