  7. Overall:
    a Pass/Fail:
The problems are with 2c, 3a, and 4b.

2c): Can you verify that the source on Sueno says "Sueno, King of Norway, Denmark, and England"; the battle is purely mythical, and I'm concerned this is influenced by identification of "Sueno" with Sweyn Forkbeard.

3a): That the battle is purely legendary is stated in the article. However, article would be better if this idea was more prominent, in conjunction with historiographic views on the reign of Mael Coluim mac Cinaeda. This however is not necessary for a GA pass.

4b): Article would benefit by considering the input of Alex Woolf's article "The Cult of Moluag, The see of Mortlach and Church Organisation in Northern Scotland in the Eleventh and Twelfth Centuries", which has a few things to say about the topic -- if only the context.

2c): The source (Bellenden) identifies Sueno as king of Denmark and England. I'll remove the reference to Norway.--Catfish Jim and the soapdish (talk) 16:47, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
4b): I've introduced a discussion of the battle of Mortlach as per Woolf. Very interesting article that... cheers! Catfish Jim and the soapdish (talk) 11:56, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
3a): I've changed the title of the article to Battle of Barry (folklore) and added some changes to the lead to reinforce the fact.Catfish Jim and the soapdish (talk) 11:57, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers. Have passed it. Congrats. Deacon of Pndapetzim (Talk) 21:45, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
