Casualties and other stuff

[edit]

An interview with the Battlegroup commander of the Dutch troops in Uruzgan was published in a dutch newspaper and the casualty figures differ alot from the ones presented in this article.[1]

I also don't like the prelude, it's kinda short, doesn't mention anything about the fight of several nations SOF (Australian, Dutch, US) that took place last year to retake Chora after it fell in hands of taliban for a short while.

During the June 2007 offensive Australian troops did not take part in combat according to the Australian MOD.[2]

There's an interesting australian article on the battle here http://www.smh.com.au/national/afghanistan-battle-bonds-brothers-in-arms-20090613-c6td.html

Will review later and see if it adds information at an acceptable level of validity and veracity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Meeware (talkcontribs) 13:30, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

June 19

[edit]

The first sentence of the 'June 19' section is not very clear, hence the 'why' tag. RASAM (talk) 17:03, 30 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
