has anyone had any experiences in this town of Belmont? In the late 50's my family and I stayed in the courthouse overnight. No one lived there at the time except the ranger and his mother. At night there was very loud banging on the boarded up windows. the adults except for my mom all drank and were sound asleep, my dog laying beside me, with a muffled low bark, was trembling quite heavily. I heard footsteps going up the stairs where my parents were sleeping. I never heard them come back down. the next morning my mom asked me why I didn't come on in as she heard me come up where she sat up waiting for me. I only told her I didn't come up and we never spoke of it again. As she did not call out to me I am sure she knew it was not me. I cannot speak to her now about it as she is no longer with us.75.15.210.203 21:59, 25 February 2007 (UTC)Jacqui Isensee, Reno, NV[reply]
