Headings

[edit]

The section headings should be reviewed. Wikipedia policy is that only the first word and proper nouns should be capitalized. It's not clear to me that "bhumi" is a proper noun, as it is used in some places in the article starting with a lower case 'b'. Also, the MoS discourages headings from starting with an unnecessary "The". Could someone more familiar with the topic please review and correct? Yworo (talk) 22:40, 8 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"3^ See also Nargajuna's Precious Garland(Ratnavali; tr. Jeffrey Hopkins: The Precious Garland and the Song of the Four Mindfulnesses; London: George Allen & Unwin, 1974), verse 441." this verse does not mention the path of seeing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.134.54.18 (talk) 11:17, 2 February 2010 (UTC) not that i'm really disputing that some agree with that system but it's presented as pretty universal and i doubt it is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.134.47.143 (talk) 13:21, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Additional Bhumis

[edit]

I feel that the changes made by User:Patrickwooldridge at 23:09, 9 April 2021 Diff is here [1]

"Various Vajrayana schools further analyze the 10th bhumi into 4 (sub)bhūmis (9+4=13 total)"

violated the intention of my edits and previous contributors and is incorrect as he did not look at the footnotes. I have reverted this change and added more content and citations to eliminate confusion. if anyone disagrees with the reversion please feel free to undo my changes.

Should this section be changed from "Additional Bhumis" to "Vajrayana Bhumis"? Since it is not strictly Mahayana should it be moved to a different page?

Should the original citation which is in chinese be removed? Not sure how helpful it is on an English page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yogi7337 (talkcontribs) 09:05, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
