Article issues
[edit]This article hints, but doesn't demonstrate, that its subject may be very interesting and quite notable. Additional references from more mainstream sources would be helpful in validating the notability of the subject, as would additional detail as to the claims made ("When Life was launched in 1936, Black Star became an important supplier of photographs to the new magazine" is very vague).
In addition the creator of the article has a significant conflict of interest. The following quote can be found on the web page of the subject:
- Scott Baradell edits and contributes to Black Star Rising. A former newspaper journalist and executive for Belo Corp., Scott is an accomplished brand strategist who leads the Idea Grove agency. He writes the Media Orchard blog and manages the Spin Thicket and Dirt 100 Web sites. He has nearly two decades of experience working closely with professional photographers, both as a journalist and as a corporate photography buyer.

- Still, I think its safe to kill the notability template here. 88.148.192.192 (talk) 09:15, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
