RIAA Certifications

[edit]

Under the RIAA sections of the discography, I've replaced what looks like sales figures with the actual and up-to-date certifications listed for the albums according to the RIAA gold and platinum database. Aside from the sales figures having no source, the RIAA tracks how many copies of an album are shipped rather than how many copies it sells. Sales figures for an album often differ from whatever certification the RIAA gives it. Sometimes, actual sales of an album may be higher or lower than its certification.Odin's Beard (talk) 13:51, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Correction needed to singles discography

[edit]

Seger's 1966 single "Ballad of the Yellow Beret" should be attributed to The Beach Bums, and it should be listed by its A-side "Florida Time" - per the single itself: https://www.discogs.com/The-Beach-Bums-Florida-Time-The-Ballad-Of-The-Yellow-Beret/release/4136424.
