Deletion review?[edit]

As the person who created a redirect page at Bobby Witt (disambiguation) before dabifying it, I would like get a deletion review for the dab's AfD. Since Buidhe - who originally PRODed the page - decided to BLAR this page per my AfD "vote", and because dabification does have some support in the AfD, I propose that we perhaps do a DRV to ensure consensus for her action. Also pinging Star Mississippi, the AfD's closer. Thanks, NotReallySoroka (talk) 02:45, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The proposed dabification is not supported by policy or guidelines and should have been discarded by the discussion closer. (t · c) buidhe 05:01, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please forgive me if I am misinterpreting you, but whether [t]he proposed dabification [...] should have been discarded by the discussion closer would indeed be a good point to argue at a DRV. NotReallySoroka (talk) 05:10, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @NotReallySoroka. I'm happy for a DRV as I don't see consensus, and relisting two months later for a 3rd time is probably not going to be possible. What I would suggest when you open the DRV is a more detail as I'm not clear on why the BLAR was incorrect as I'm not fully understanding that, and I think others might be in the same boat. Thanks for heads up on this. Star Mississippi 13:34, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'd also just suggest if/when you proceed, put the pointer to this discussion as folks will look for/not see it on my Talk and ask why you didn't run it by me, so let's avoid that step. Star Mississippi 13:35, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
