In the Notes Section it says that Zhaan is revealed to be a plant-species. Isn't that already clear by that point in the series? There is the part with the "photorgasms" in an earlier episode that is a very big hint. No, it's never mentioned before--it was a big reveal moment, for both Crichton and the audience. And while Crichton realizes, after he finds out that she's a plant, that that also explains why she likes the light so much, there's no way to tell from her enjoyment of solar flares that she's a plant--it could just be a weird, alien quirk, as far as we knew that early in the series. Another "clue" they gave was Zhaan's comment that her body has no bacteria--but that was kind of a stupid clue, since plants can harbor bacteria.QuizzicalBee 06:26, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
