"Also see"

I made a few grammatical edits to your page. Very minor things. I also removed "emotional branding" from the "Also see" section because I feel that emotional branding is very vaguely related to your topic. There are many more articles that would be a better fit for that section. Go broader like "marketing" or "branding" in general. Emotional branding is very specific. Other than that, I think you have a good start. Maybe add more details about what a person in that position would do specifically and examples of what famous people have been in that position and what they did. CONTENT: Good. Some grammatical errors but easy to improve. STRUCTURE: Really good. I like the subsections that you have for "Concepts" SOURCES: Good sources. Need more specific examples. The article has greatly improved. You need to refine the introduction and really clarify what a brand ambassador is/does. For example, I doubt that a brand ambassador has anything to do with Human Resources. I would also get rid of the line on the diplomat. It seems to me that the ambassador is mostly defined by its promotional role rather than by its ability to manage a brand. I might be wrong on this.
I see you have added a section on the evolution towards brand ambassadors, which is great. Does Davis state exactly when brand ambassadors were introduced by/in the industry? Also it is unclear to me why you state that brand managers were mostly a liability in the 1950s and 1960s. Of course they were expensive, but if companies hired them is because they were supposed to increase revenues.
Finally, I have renamed one of your sections and incorporated the part on contemporary brand ambassadors in your history section. You might use a part of that section to refine the introduction.Mdseriis (talk) 22:28, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

I think you have a really good start. I also agree with the professor that maybe you should double check on the terms of what a brand ambassador does in the sense of relating it to human resources. Maybe you should look for another example for this. Also for the sub sections of related terms, you might want to add examples and further explain what they are just so that readers can understand it better. I would also cite some of those terms since I notices that the sub section for celebrities doesn't have a citation. Overall I think you've done a great job and just need to do some minor changed to make your article perfect. Jenks27 (talk) 23:08, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

Brand ambassadors are not always celebrities

The article seems to suggest they are always celebrities or (spokes)models. I am at a university in the UK and I very regularly see jobs advertised for student "brand ambassadors", employed to spread the word about a brand on campus or in halls of residence. Nothing celebrity about it. 86.130.248.38 (talk) 14:49, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
